CBI’s research shows that in order to satisfy current levels of housing demand, 240,000 new homes need to be built a year. This gap in demand is pushing up the property prices.

Percentage increase over the last decade in the 10 most performing london borough’s is as follows:

  1. City of London 194.1%
  2. City of Westminster 183.5%
  3. Kensington and Chelsea 170.5%
  4. Lambeth 131.7%
  5. Camden 123.0%
  6. Hammersmith and Fulham 114.4%
  7. Islington 109.0%
  8. Hackney 107.7%
  9. Wandsworth 107.0%
  10. Southwark 106.1%
